The Haitian American Young Professional Awards recognize
Young Professionals under the age of 45 who continually demonstrate outstanding leadership,
exemplary professional accomplishments and commitment to their communities.
Application Guidelines
Anyone under 45 is eligible to be nominated.
There is no fee to apply and applicants can self-nominate if they qualify.
Judging Criteria
Nominees will be judged in the following categories:
Haitian American Young Professional of the Year: This award is presented to a young professional who has stood out as a business leader in the community. The recipient of this award has exhibited creativity, diligence and excellence in their career.
Haitian American Young Entrepreneur of the Year: This award is presented to a young professional whose vision, innovation, tenacity and leadership in creating a successful and progressive business has made an undoubtedly positive impact on their community.
Haitian American Young Citizen of the Year: This award is presented to a young professional whose commitment, outstanding civic engagement, volunteerism and public service has benefited their community.
Haitian American Young Leader of the Year: This award is presented to a young professional who has demonstrated enthusiasm, ambition and has been an exemplary leader in their community.
A panel of judges will select 20 finalists. Two winners will be selected from each category.
Winners will be announced at the 2019 Haitian American Young Professional Awards Gala
on March 16, 2019.
