Massachusetts, July 5, 2024 – The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the appointment of new Regional Directors in Florida, Georgia, Rhode Island, and several other states. This strategic expansion aims to enhance support for Haitian businesses across the country through collaboration with local business associations and the implementation of various Chamber programs.
The newly appointed Regional Directors bring a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to fostering economic growth within the Haitian business community. Their mission is to provide tailored support to Haitian entrepreneurs, facilitate networking opportunities, and advocate for the interests of Haitian businesses at both state and national levels.

By collaborating with local business associations and leveraging our diverse programs, we are confident that our Regional Directors will make a significant impact in their respective areas.”
Jean Eddy Ulysse, the new Regional Director for West Palm Beach, Florida, expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, “I am honored to join the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce and look forward to working closely with Haitian businesses in Florida. Our goal is to create a robust network of support, offering resources and opportunities that will help our entrepreneurs succeed and contribute to the economic vitality of our state.”
Joensia Mertilus, appointed as the Regional Director for Georgia, shared her vision, saying, “This is an exciting time for Haitian businesses in Georgia. As Regional Director, I am committed to fostering collaboration and innovation within our community. By partnering with local business associations and utilizing the Chamber’s programs, we will empower Haitian entrepreneurs to reach new heights.”
Dr. Kappy Bois, the new Regional Director for Rhode Island, added, “I am excited to be part of this dynamic team and to support Haitian businesses in Rhode Island. Our mission is to provide the necessary tools and resources for Haitian entrepreneurs to thrive, and I look forward to working with local partners to achieve this goal.”
