PRESS RELEASE: U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce Launches Customer Service Training Program for Haitian Restaurants in Massachusetts
Massachusetts, June 14, 2024 – The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of a new Customer Service Training Program specifically designed to support Haitian restaurants across Massachusetts. This initiative, offered completely free of charge, aims to elevate the quality of customer service in our local Haitian restaurants, providing an enhanced dining experience for all patrons.
Starting this July, the program will provide comprehensive training focused on customer service and essential hospitality skills. Two employees from each participating restaurant will have the opportunity to attend a 4-hour training session conducted by renowned experts in the hospitality industry.
Addressing a Critical Need
While Haitian cuisine is celebrated for its rich flavors and cultural significance, customer service has been a noted area for improvement in many of our restaurants. By focusing on enhancing customer service, we aim to ensure that every diner enjoys not only the food but also the overall dining experience. This program is designed to address these challenges head-on, equipping restaurant staff with the skills and knowledge needed to exceed customer expectations.
Key Benefits of the Program:
1. Free Training: Two employees from each restaurant will receive top-tier customer service training at no cost.
2. Certification: Upon completion, each restaurant will receive a certificate of participation to display proudly.
3. Recognition: Participating restaurants will be featured on the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce’s website and social media platforms. This recognition highlights your restaurant as one of the top Haitian dining spots known for excellent customer service.
How to Enroll:
Restaurant owners are invited to enroll by filling out the registration form available here by June 28, 2024. The form should include the names of the two employees who will participate in the program.
Dr. Hans Patrick Domercant, President and CEO of the U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce, shared his enthusiasm for the program: “We believe this initiative will transform the service quality in our Haitian restaurants, fostering a new standard of excellence that will benefit the entire community. Our goal is to empower restaurant staff with the skills they need to provide exceptional service and create memorable dining experiences.”
