U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce to Celebrate 6th Annual Haitian American Business Expo and Job Fair event with Over 80 Exhibitors and Employers
Boston, MA, 5/17/2024 – The U.S. Haitian Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce its 6th annual Haitian American Business Expo and Job Fair event, set to take place on May 18th at Boston Prep, 885 River St, Hyde Park, MA 02136, from 12 pm to 4 pm. This year’s event promises to be our largest and most exciting yet, featuring over 80 exhibitors and employers, dedicated support for small business owners, numerous job opportunities, and a special celebration of Haitian Flag Day.
The Haitian American Business Expo and Job Fair has become a cornerstone event for the community, fostering economic growth, networking, and cultural pride. Attendees will have the unique opportunity to connect with leading businesses, explore career options, and access valuable resources tailored to support small business development.
Event Highlights:
- Exhibitors and Employers: With over 80 exhibitors and employers participating, attendees can engage with a diverse range of industries, including technology, healthcare, finance, education, and more. This provides an excellent platform for job seekers to discover new opportunities and for businesses to find top talent.
- Support for Small Business Owners: The expo will feature 1-on-1 consultations for small business owners from our resource partners. These sessions are designed to assist entrepreneurs in navigating the complexities of running a business. Topics will include marketing strategies, financial planning, and accessing funding resources.
- Job Opportunities: In light of the migrant crisis in Massachusetts, our job fair aims to connect migrants and job seekers with employers, helping them sustain themselves and their families. Job seekers will have the chance to meet with potential employers, submit resumes, and even participate in on-site interviews.
- Celebration of Haitian Flag Day: In addition to the business and job fair activities, we will proudly celebrate Haitian Flag Day with cultural performances, music, and food. The event will feature the vibrant sounds of Melanj of Boston, bringing the flavor of Troubadour music from Haiti.
