📢 Thank you to all the attendees, sponsors, and partners of the 5th Annual Haitian American Business Expo and Job Fair, which occurred yesterday, May 20, 2023! Thanks to your support and participation, I am pleased to announce that this year’s event was an incredible success.
Our expo and job fair provided an excellent platform for Haitian American businesses to thrive, and it was heartening to witness the positive impact it had on our community. Throughout the day, numerous individuals had the opportunity to attend small business workshops with the Massachusetts Supplier Diversity, Score Mentors, and the City of Boston Offices of Small Business And Supplier Diversity, gaining valuable insights and knowledge to fuel their entrepreneurial journeys. Additionally, many entrepreneurs benefited from free one-on-one business consultations facilitated by Score Mentors, Small Business Strong, my company Quadrillion Tech Solutions, and Massachusetts Supplier Diversity (SDO), paving the way for growth and success.
I express my deepest gratitude to our esteemed guest speakers and community leaders, who graced us with their presence and shared their expertise. Special thanks go to former state representative and community leader Marie St Fleur; Boston City Councilor Ruthzee Louijeune; State Senator Michael Brady; Boston City Councilor Julia Mejia; Boston City Councilor Kendra Lara; Boston City Councilor Ricardo Arroyo; and Pastor Dieufort Florissant. Your presence and insightful contributions made the event even more enriching for all who attended.
I am humbled to share that our organization received a citation from Councilor Louijeune and the Boston City Council. This honor is a testament to our team’s hard work and dedication. In addition, this recognition strengthens our commitment to continue fostering economic growth and empowerment within the Haitian American business community.
Thanks to my incredible team, who worked tirelessly to make the 5th Annual Haitian American Business Expo and Job Fair successful. Your dedication, passion, and unwavering support were instrumental in bringing this event to fruition.
In closing, I want to highlight the robust discussion on small business financing moderated by our Financing Director, Anthony Fleurival, that marked the conclusion of the Technical Assistance part of the event. In addition, we were privileged to have esteemed guest speakers Nadine Boone from SBA Massachusetts; Ari Velóz from MGCC; Eddy Desir from Cambridge Savings’ Bank; and Jason Solomon from Eastern Bank. Their insights, expertise, and guidance in navigating the intricacies of small business financing were invaluable. Shedding light on funding opportunities and resources, they equipped our entrepreneurs with the knowledge to secure financial stability and propel their businesses to new heights.
Once again, thank you!
