Governor Baker announced on October 22nd that $50.8 million is available to help small businesses as part of the state’s COVID-19 economic recovery plan. Massachusetts Growth Capital Corporation (MGCC) is making those funds available through grants of up $75,000 for Massachusetts businesses with less than 50 employees. Businesses owned by people of color will receive funding priority, and application help is available. Start your application now to ensure time to gather backup and submit a complete, on-time application.
Businesses owned by people of color and members of other underrepresented groups will receive funding priority. Preference will also be given to businesses serving Gateway Cities and those that have not been able to receive aid from other federal programs related to COVID-19.
The application deadline is Thursday, November 12, 2020 at 12:00 PM (noon).
